Many state centers award not only first place but also second and third place prizes and many also recognize state honorable mentions. Be sure to visit the state websites (see Contact Us) for more specifics and more images!
Every participating state center for the book celebrates its Letters About Literature state winners differently. Some hold awards receptions with the governor. Some present the awards to the winning children at their annual book festivals. Still others travel to the schools to make presentations during the end-of-year awards program for that school district. Take a look at some of this year's LAL gatherints.
COLORADO
