Michael Egan took first place on level 3 in California's state competition. He then went on to win a national honor award. Congratulations!
Maryland's first place winner, Nimai Agarwal, reads his letter to Kate DiCamillo during the Maryland awards ceremony. Although author DiCamillo wasn't in the audience, U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes was and presented Nimai with his cash award.
